Catch Expands to Catch19 Offering a Full Bar & Expanded Menu

After three successful years serving up some of Red Bank’s finest food, its owners said goodbye to Catch and hello to Catch19 – an expanded version of the popular seafood eatery.

Catch19 opened its doors last month at the former location of Gotham (19 Broad St., Red Bank, New Jersey).

“We needed a bigger venue to hold private parties and also wanted to offer an expanded menu that featured more of something for everyone,” Catch19’s owners told us.

The restaurant seats 150 people and has a menu that will continue to feature Catch’s famous Angry Shrimp and Lobster along with plenty of options for all food lovers.

When you go to Catch19 you can expect quality food, quality service, and hospitality. In addition, it’s a fine dining establishment that has a casual feel. You can go there to relax while enjoying a great meal and there’s something on the menu for everyone in the family.

Catch19 accomplished its goal of creating an upscale environment that’s cozy. In our opinion, the best seat in the house is the chef’s table. For a cozy and quiet date night, reserve one of the booths located in the back of the restaurant.

The Chef’s table gives guests a close look inside Catch19’s kitchen.

Our Top Menu Picks

Chef Dom outdoes himself every time making it hard to narrow down a few of our favorite menu items. The Angry Shrimp and Lobster (made with coconut milk and Sriracha) is a given – you can’t go to Catch19 or Red Bank for that matter without trying it. The menu items that we can’t get enough of include:

  • “Colorado Rack of Lamb. It features the chef’s secret seasoning grilled to the temperature the customer wants and is served on a wooden board. It’s the biggest rack of lamb I’ve ever seen in my life and is a carnivore’s dream that’s cooked perfectly. There’s some amazing flavors that really come out of it. Talk about a sophisticated rack of lamb.” – Frank Eisenband, Merchant Executive, Priority Payments Local

  • “The scallops are delicious, big, and tender. Chef Dom pan sears them and serves them with a flavorful Cajun glaze, pumpkin seeds, and pancetta.” Julene Lauro, Executive Assistant, Priority Payments Local

  • My personal favorites? I always try to eat on the healthy side, even when I dine out. I cannot get enough of Chef Dom’s crispy goat cheese salad and quinoa fried rice. The goat cheese salad tastes like candy; the crispy goat cheese adds a nice texture to the plate. I also never heard of quinoa fried rice, pictured, until I saw it on the menu at Catch19. As a foodie, I have to say, it’s quite original. It eat alone or as a side but always want more of it.
