Depending on your business model, we offer standard funding which is 1 business day or next day funding.

What payment terminals can I use?

We have dozens of payment terminal partners. Our top payment terminal partners include Dejavoo, First Data, PAX, and Verifone. For a sampling of these terminals, visit the terminals page on our website.

Will my rates change?

Rates are subject to industry average costs which do fluctuate, however, we do our best not to change them. In the event they need to be changed, you will be notified and will need to approve the change.

How do I update the information I have on file such as my bank account?

Log into MX Merchant and select “Account” from the left-hand toolbar then select “Merchant Services.” Or, email support@pplocal.io and our team will take care of it for you.

How do I create a new account for a second location or online business I just started?

Contact your sales rep or our sales department for an application.

What is PCI compliance?

Each year the Payment Card Industry (PCI) administers a data security (DSS) questionnaire which is a set of security standards designed to ensure that all companies that accept, process, store, or transmit credit card information maintain a secure environment. In short, PCI Compliance helps protect your business. 

What happens if my business is not PCI compliant?

If my payment technology goes down, what do I do?

Be sure to let us know right away. In the meantime, you can process payments using our proprietary gateway MX Merchant which is available and live for all our merchants 24/7.

Does my payment terminal accept contactless payments?

Every terminal we have deployed since 2018 does accept contactless payments. If you are not sure, contact us.

Where can I find my statements?

Your statements are available in MX Merchant under the “Account Tabs” via “Merchant Services.
